Intergovernmental Commission workshop supported by The National Integration and Tolerance in Georgia Program (NITG)

On June 29, Hotel "Sheraton” hosted the Intergovernmental Commission workshop.</p> <p>During the workshop was discussed the creation of the working commission for the further implementation and monitoring of The National Concept for Tolerance and Civic Integration and Action Plan, particularly, determination of the project activity lists for 2009-2010, evaluation of the existing risk-factors, possibilities for the action plan modification, preparation/design MoU for defined ministries, coordination mechanisms for The Intergovernmental Commission and information exchange obligations.</p> <p>The organizers of the meeting was The State Minister Office for the Reintegration Issues and the event was supported by The National Integration and Tolerance in Georgia Program (NITG), funded by USAID and run by The United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG). The workshop was leading by Elene Tevdoradze, Deputy Minister for the Reintegration Issues.
