,,The war undoubtedly showed me that life is short. You never know when you whiff your last breath, therefore I try my best to do a lot, I try to be as active as possible, and to achieve that I acquire the help of an informal educational program FID. This environment is my second home, since here you are free to speak your mind, and you attain good knowledge and experience. The most important part is the people you get to meet. I had the opportunity to make many new friends without whom my life wouldn't be the same." - Salome Sirbiladze,  Participant of the Fostering Inclusive Democracy (FID) Program.

,,I am a plain, ward. If you ask others about me, they'll say that I am quite successful. But if you ask me the same question, I'll give you the opposite answer because my purpose is so great, but the path is so hard, that I can't stop evolving even for a moment and say ,,-I did it, I am successful now".

I think a person should never use these words since every day of life is a lesson, evolvement, and an exam itself. I am a brave person, I never give up, I know that if not today then tomorrow I'll do it. I am afraid of nothing in this life. What should I be afraid of? When I was 6 there were bombs soaring on top of my head. The rackety sounds of war would wake me up, and my drowsy self found out that my father has gone to fight in the battle. That was where I thought my life would crumble. After a week I saw my father again, and after that, I got the feeling of this untouchable strength and I swore that I would never give up and that I would reach my goal."

,,One day I decided to try out my skills in the military field, therefore I became a member of General George Mazniashvili's state legion. I gained quite a lot of experience there. I made amazing friends. And today I am proud to say that I am a legionnaire, I am a person, I am a youthful woman that is filled with the desire to live, who just wants to live in a united Georgia. We'll experience that too..I am sure of it!"

The  Fostering Inclusive Democracy (FID) program is implemented by the UNA Georgia in cooperation with the Swedish UN Association and with the financial support of ForumCiv / SIDA.
