"In 2020 I attended the training course within the Fostering Inclusive Democracy program (FID) which was one of the most important experiences for me and other young beneficiaries.

“Unfortunately, in the public schools in Georgia we have less access to the programs and activities based on non-formal education approaches and the programs such as FID are the main possibilities for raising youth civic awareness.” -

Kristi Makharadze, activits of the ,,Fostering Inclusive Democracy –FID program".

Kristi is a Kutaisi N1 public school student.

Since December 2020, Kristi has been actively involved in FID Program, within the program, she completed a training course on children's rights and then held informational meetings for her peers.

It was a very fruitful project because, since the majority of students and teachers had very little or no information about child rights. With the project efforts, up to six hundred people have gained competent information regarding child rights codex.

The Fostering Inclusive Democracy (FID) program is implemented by the UNA Georgia in cooperation with the Swedish UN Association and with the financial support of ForumCiv / SIDA.
