LINKS PROJECT PARTICIPATES IN JOB FAIR ORGANIZED IN BATUMI, ADJARA

On June 15, from 11:00 to 15:00, LINKS project hosted a job fair in Batumi organized in partnership with LEARN for Employment project, Employment Agency of the Autonomous Region of Adjara, and State Employment Support Agency. 

The event took place in an open space in "Sunset Batumi", where 40 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations from Adjara presented vacancies, while 255jobseekers from Adjara and Guria presented resumes and attended interviews with potential employers. The event also facilitated networking opportunities by inviting educational institutions, local government representatives, and CSOs to share experiences. 

The “Local Investments in Networks for Knowledge and Skill-share” (LINKS) project is implemented by the United Nations Association of Georgia (UNAG) and Open Society Foundation Georgia (OSGF). The project is funded through EU’s larger “Skills4Jobs” program, which aims at assisting thousands of Georgians in finding jobs by enhancing high-quality vocational education, improving lifelong learning opportunities, and supporting entrepreneurship. Project implementation is locally supported by the Independent Journalists’ House in the Adjara region.
