Conference on Human Rights and Gender Equality, July 1-8, 2012

United Nations Association of Georgia is soliciting applications for Regional Conference on Human Rights and Gender Equality to be held July 1-8, 2012 in Georgia. The event is intended to provide theoretical insight into human rights and gender related topics. It will offer discussions, role-plays and tailored training courses by field experts and professionals.</p> <p>Selected participants will be required to take part in all sessions of the conference and as a follow up, conduct peer-to-peer activities/campaigns in their own countries/communities. Fluency in English is required.</p> <p>United Nations Association of Georgia will reimburse ground transportation expenses and provide participants with accommodation and meals. Young people between the ages of 18-30 from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia with demonstrated interest in sharing experience and knowledge should apply.
