UNA Georgia conducted two-weeks training cycle dedicated to promotion of Millennium Development Goals. Sixty youth representatives from Shida Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli participated in the trainings launched in Tskneti.</p> <p>The participants were divided in eight groups to bring into the light Millennium Development Goals. During the trainings, youth participants worked in groups and increased knowledge in the field of MDGs and expressed their opinion and view how to be MGDs fulfilled in Georgia. Afterwards, they made presentations of their daily works and discussed specific steps and actions to implement MDGs in Georgia.</p> <p>The participants of the trainings obtained knowledge related to MDGs, participated in team-building activities and acquired useful practical skills to make effective presentations and debate.</p> <p>The cycle of trainings was conducted within the frameworks of Confidence Building in South Caucasus program, run by UNA Georgia in cooperation with UNA Sweden and with financial support of Forum Syd/SIDA.
